How to build your own SQA Team from Scratch

We are not kidding, you just made the first step for your company, agency, product, or idea to get the best choice, and start building your product faster and under control. Our 6 Steps Mantra will guide you to establish your QA Team or at least to prevent risks that can represent a high impact on your customers, before your product goes live.

Even if you don't have enough budget to get or build your own QA Team, we are also a key member that will help you up, while your idea begins to bear fruit.

If your company needs to build a QA Team or you need to start a QA department, then you should start by making a diagnosis of your company and members.

1. Assign a lead of this diagnostic process. Please, ;) we are here for you! Chose the best!

2. List problems you are facing with your old or current clients.

3. Make a list of peeps and areas that should be included in the improvement of quality. Remember, this is not only a compromise of developers but a joint effort for the whole company.

4. Make a questionnaire focused on identifying failures in the process.

5. Set short but several interviews of peeps that have been involved directly with the product.

6. Take notes, and score from highest to low, risks detected.

7. Make a mitigation plan with experts.

8. Set compromises, responsible members, and dates.

9. Follow up the process.

While you do this as a leader or company, you can also start fixing some problems in projects, by being involved in them.

The idea is your process permeates the whole team while you and your Team adjust action items generated from the Mitigation Plan.
